As you may have figured out from the homepage, I am very interested in spaceflight. And while this has led me to taking engineering at school, building model rockets, and spending too much time playing Kerbal Space Program, it has undoubtedly led to me seeing some of the most powerful events that humans can create: rocket launches. I have been to two launches in-person, one in 2019 and one in 2021, and watched many more virtually.
Additionally, I have visited several air and space museums and launch sites, including SpaceX's Starbase facility in South Texas.

Starship Test Flights
I am a dedicated follower of the space industry. Beginning in August of 2019, SpaceX began flying Starship prototypes from Boca Chica, Texas. I have watched every single flight of a Starship live as of November 2021. These tests are some of the most famous spaceflight activities being undertaken in the present day, due to their ambition, landing flip maneuver, often explosive ends, and their ties to eccentric billionaire Elon Musk. Here is my video of me and a friend watching the flight of Starship SN15, along with the official webcast of the flight.

Starbase: Gateway to Mars

In 2021, SpaceX announced they had plans to change the name of their Boca Chica launch facility to Starbase. In June and August of that year, I visited Starbase, and it was an experience like no other.
